I love helping people assemble, excavate, or otherwise shape a book manuscript and offer poetry (or poetry-adjacent) manuscript consultations for a sliding scale fee of $250-350. I’d love to help you see your work-in-progress anew, get unstuck, find patterns, have courage, and listen to your book’s intentions. Hybrid work, queer and feminist texts, and other writing from and in the margins especially welcome.

A manuscript consultation will include:

• A brief initial meeting/call to get to know each other and talk about your goals, questions, and ideas for the manuscript.
• Written feedback that attends to your manuscript’s structure, threads, tendencies, and future possibilities.
• A one-hour meeting/call to discuss my notes and anything else you may want to talk about.

If you are interested in working together, email me and tell me a little bit about you and your manuscript. Please include 5-10 representative pieces or pages from the manuscript (or links to published versions). This will help give me a sense of whether I’d be a useful reader of your writing.

If your project is substanitally longer or shorter than a standard poetry book manuscript, I’d be glad to work with you for an adjusted fee.
